There is a lot to think about when designing a home and many people simply overlook window treatments. In this article, I’m hoping to help you avoid some common pitfalls and save some money.

When using decorative casing such as shutters and 2 inch plantation size wooden blinds, you should always make sure that you have at least 2 1/2″. When you
have a double or triple window encased within one window opening, you may want to use a vertical trim strips between each window. Make sure that you include this when measuring the depth. Even though it is less common decorating sliding doors, make sure that you include the handle when you measure, as the usual depth for this is 4 inches.

For people who choose to use fasting for weight loss, it can be difficult. Some fasting tips will help you go through the transition whether you have chosen a ten-day or thirty day fast.

Limit the number of people you tell. Many won’t understand your motives and will try to dissuade you from fasting.

Turn off the television to prevent yourself from being tempted by the various food ads.

Make sure you get plenty of sleep. You are already fasting, thus you may find your energy level is lower, especially if you have chosen to drink only water as opposed to juices.

Make sure you take vitamins to replace the foods you are not consuming during your fast.

As with any diet, consult your doctor before you attempt fasting to make sure there are no health conditions that would make a fast dangerous for you.

A fast is difficult for most people because they are used to consuming large amounts of food, and now you are limiting yourself to either water or fresh juices—or a combination of both. For someone who only has a few pounds to lose, fasting may not be very difficult, but for someone who has 40, 50, or more pounds they need to lose, the process can be long and difficult. When you go from eating three meals and day plus snacks, and you have to go to a liquid diet, it can be an enormous jolt to the body.

It’s important to understand that fasting for weight loss does not mean that you do not put anything in the mouth because your body will become dehydrated. You must choose either water or fruit juice in order to prevent your body from dehydrating, but you do not eat solid foods during your fast. Following healthy fasting tips will prevent you from putting your health in danger. The key to fasting is to use it as a quick way to begin a weight loss program, not to put our health in danger.

Whether you choose ten days or thirty days is up to you as an individual, the amount of weight you need to lose, and the status of your health in the beginning of the fast. This will also determine whether you choose water or juice since juice will provide more energy than water, so if you have a great deal of weight to lose, you may find that you feel better with a juice fast.

Choosing fasting for weight loss can be very rewarding, but you have to make sure that you be on the look out for any waning signs your body gives you that you are overdoing it. If you following the fasting tips provided here and in other sources, you will find your fasting experience to be more successful. The key is allowing your body to become used to less food, so that when you return to eating solid food, you will not have the desire to eat large portions of the unhealthy food you had been consuming.
